Dr. Fraley represented the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineers at the Congressional Life Sciences Exhibit on Capitol Hill. She and lab alumna turned CEO, Dr. Mridu Sinha, presented digital melting technology to members and staffers of the House and Senate.
MENTORSHIP
The Fraley Lab has partnered with the UCSD Bioengineering Graduate Society (BEGS) to bring a scientific outreach program to Clairemont High School (CHS). Dr. Fraley's NSF CAREER Award funds hands-on graduate student-led bioengineering activities for CHS students. Students also visit labs at UCSD (pictured).
